When someone we love is approaching the end of life or passes away, families are often grieving while simultaneously being asked to make decisions, find professionals, organize documents, handle a home, communicate with relatives and determine what needs to happen next.
Heaven Concierge was created around a simple idea: families deserve one compassionate person to call when they don't know where to start.

Why Heaven Concierge Exists
Many services already exist to help families — funeral homes, crematories, attorneys, CPAs, estate-sale companies, movers, real-estate professionals and many others. The challenge is that families may not know who they need, who to call first, what needs immediate attention, what can wait, which questions to ask, or how all of the pieces fit together. Heaven Concierge helps bring those pieces together.

Families decide which professionals to hire, which services to use and how they want matters handled. When legal, tax, medical, funeral, cremation, real-estate, mortgage or other licensed professional services are required, those services are provided through appropriately licensed professionals or entities.

Whatever your family's background, our purpose is simply to be a steady, compassionate presence when you need one most.
The Story Behind Heaven Concierge
A Second Chance
Michael Craig was born with epilepsy. For decades, seizures shaped the edges of every day — what he could do, where he could go, and what he could take for granted. Despite that, he built a career in real estate and mortgage lending, pursued golf, and formed an extraordinary bond with Thalia, his seizure-alert dog. He kept searching for a life without fear.
On August 12, 2025, Michael underwent awake brain surgery at UCSF after extensive neurological testing and SEEG monitoring. He remained conscious while doctors tested the areas of his brain responsible for language. It became the defining turning point of his life.
Recovery was not easy. Serious communication challenges followed — including a period when his yes-and-no responses became reversed. Months of speech therapy. Slowly, words returned. Confidence returned. Life returned.
"Then something deeper changed."
Michael's confrontation with mortality led him toward God and a renewed Christian faith. Prayer became part of his daily life. Baptism in the Pacific Ocean at Huntington Beach became a symbol of leaving fear behind — and beginning again.
Golf
Michael returned to the golf course after decades away from competitive play — standing on a tee at sunrise, Thalia nearby, realizing that simply being there was something he once couldn't take for granted. His new dream: Senior PGA competition.
The Memoir
Michael is writing AWAKE — A Memoir of Epilepsy, Survival, and Finding Peace After Fear, transforming decades of struggle into a story intended to give other people hope. A second chance isn't just personal — it's meant to be shared.
The Mission
After personally confronting mortality, Michael understands what families face when death arrives. Heaven Concierge was born from that understanding — a compassionate guide so families can concentrate on what matters most: each other.
